Apple Sour Cream Pie
1 Prepared Graham Cracker Crust
2 cups of prepared apple pie filling (Homemade or canned, depending on your preference)
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1C. Sour Cream
1/4 C Lemon Juice
1/2 C Chopped Pecans
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Mix filling ingredients together, and spread in bottom of graham crust. Top with apple pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Toss the pecans and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the pie. Cool pie for several hours in the refrigerator. Decorate with a ring of whipped cream, and enjoy!

We have been so honored to be featured on the front page of Arizona Republic’s “Food and Drink” section on 11/20/13! The amazing and talented Karen Fernau came to the shop and interviewed our owner, and John Samora took some GORGEOUS pictures. The best part? They asked for some new, non-traditional pie recipes. We were happy to share some fun new ones with them

One thing we feel like we need to share is that the recipe we sent in for Apple Sour Cream Pie was altered before print. If it’s made according to the recipe in the paper, we fear the raw apples won’t cook all the way, and we’d hate for you to have a crunchy pie. Arizona Republic emailed us earlier to let us know they will fix it as soon as possible, but in the meantime: to the left is the original recipe- which makes the pie you’ll see in the article.
